MERCIK

If you see this message, it means you’ve received my very first “message in a bottle,” marking the start of an entire series.
We usually buy postcards to share our experiences from travels or specific places. But what if you got yourself a postcard not to send a message — but to receive one? That was the very first thought when creating the initial batch.
Yet, it doesn’t end there. There’s more to it.
I want to connect with humans again — because we are more than just clicks and likes. I want people to feel something when they read a note on paper, from an unexpected sender.
I want them to encounter this surprise in a place where they hadn’t expected to receive a message at all.
I want to connect with like-minded people — those who seek beauty, excitement, and calmness in places of exchange, novelty, and knowledge.
I’ve always known: I have way too many thoughts and see far too many things that often go unnoticed. So, the series will be all about glimpses and short stories I would like others to see and hear, too.
But it’s not just about me — it’s also about you, as well.
So feel free: Who are you? What is your message in a bottle to me? To others?
What brought you to pick up your “reversed postcard”? How did that day start? How did it go? How did it end?
Below, you’ll find a comment canvas — a space for you to share something, whatever it is.

Ciao!
My story with your postcard happened yesterday, when we were with my friend in Bellagio. Crossing the street we saw the card and our first thought was like “does somebody leave it in the middle of nowhere?”. Then we read the message on the other side of the card and understood that it is a unique and original way to show who you are as an artist and especially as a person.
P.S. I love collecting postcards from the places that I have been, and it is the best “souvenir” that makes memories alive so for sure it will be on my “collecting wall”! 🤍
And also cannot wait to see how the seeds will blooming 😌

Ciao Mercik
My name is Ameni, i found your postcard on my way to the train station in Como Camerlata to pick up a friend of mine and I was basically running to be on time because they already arrived an waiting for me. I stopped for a second and it was hanging there, the postcard, on a window of some Piano shop I guess, i was curious to be honest, i’ve always been, what’s this thing doing there and whats written exactly. I read it and I immediately loved the concept of it, I’ve always loved plants especially flowers. So I’ll make sure to update you on instagram about the growth.
Take care
xx Ameni
